Our solutions

We offer complete GIS-based solutions for the calculation, visualization and analysis of noise. Our solutions support you throughout the entire process, from data preparation and calculation of noise pollution to analysis of the results, planning of targeted measures and provision of the data for further use. Thanks to the latest technology and precise noise models, traffic scenarios and noise abatement measures can be modeled realistically and their impact on the population can be analysed and presented transparently.

D-noise web services

D-noise web Services is a solution based on ArcGIS Online for the provision of basic data, e.g. for noise calculations with third-party products. For road and streetcar noise, emissions can be calculated according to sonROAD18.

The solution can be used to obtain all the basic data required for noise calculations as well as existing results on an area-by-area basis. Using a web GIS, emission-relevant data such as traffic volumes, speeds, road surfaces, etc. can be adjusted directly in the browser. This allows efficient forecasts and noise scenarios to be created on the basis of consistent data.

D-noise

D-noise is a GIS solution for the simulation and assessment of environmental noise. D-noise can be used to create noise pollution registers and calculate possible noise scenarios. D-noise is based on the ArcGIS Pro solution from Esri and offers a wide range of functionality for all work steps from data preparation and noise calculation to evaluations, the creation of reports and the publication of results. A large number of interfaces enable the results to be made available on geoportals, output in the format of the minimum geodata model for main and other roads, or further use of the data with D-noise web services.

Traffic data management

We have added a traffic data tool to our portfolio for managing your traffic model and count data. In principle, count data can be recorded and managed in any format (Nt/Nn, Swiss5, Swiss10+). Traffic sections without count data can be linked via references. Model data for motorized individual transport and public transport can also be stored and used.

The traffic tool can be easily adapted to your needs, with an individual data model as well as individual interfaces and calculation formulas.

Relaxation level tool

The tool for relaxation levels enables simple and clear management of the relaxations granted and changes over time. This allows you to maintain an overview in your city or canton and find your way around quickly and geo-based.

  • Historication of relaxation levels when updated
  • Retention of information on abolished relaxations
  • Comparability with different versions of the noise pollution register
  • Interfaces for importing and exporting information on relaxations and the required basic data

View analysis

D-View – the new perspective on real estate

D-View is an innovative solution for precisely analyzing and evaluating the view from apartments and properties. The software is based on state-of-the-art GIS technology and offers a systematic recording of visual relationships throughout Switzerland – from nearby areas to distant landscape elements. This provides a sound basis for real estate valuations, development projects or spatial planning issues.

The results provide detailed insights into which areas and objects are visible from a location and make them available in a clear form. Whether for investors, planners or authorities – D-View creates transparency and supports well-founded decisions when it comes to the value and quality of a location.

Technology

Our software D-noise is developed in the .NET environment and is based on the latest ArcGIS technology from Esri. The implemented noise models were developed at Empa and are state of the art. Thanks to modular software and extensive automation, we solve customer orders intelligently and efficiently.
